I Found the Perfect Moisturizer! "yes to" Product Review
Hey guys! These last couple of months I’ve been experimenting with the yes to skincare line. My previous skincare routine consisted of washing my face twice a day, and that was pretty much it. I would use a lil toner or oil for dryness, but I never really invested in my skin. For one, I didn’t even know the benefit of using certain products. But most recently I’ve started experimenting with moisturizers, face masks, and all that good stuff!
I tried a couple of Burt’s Bees moisturizers and immediately got discouraged after my face broke out. I was surprised because I use their face wash, but what I’ve learned is that every product is not for everybody.
So, I started asking around for recommendations and one of my friends suggested I try the yes to Cucumbers Moisturizer. I got the one for sensitive skin (from Target) and I LOVE IT. The smell is so refreshing, and I love how light it feels on my skin.
Product ingredients include: Aloe Vera, almond oil, soybean, jojoba oil, spinach, cucumbers, and rosemary.
The almond oil and aloe help to add a healthy glow to skin, while the cucumber helps to calm. My pores are smaller and my skin is clearer since using this product!
While at Target, I also picked up the yes to Coconut Hydrate & Restore Mask! This is another winner guys. lol. My skin was feeling so dry, because as I mentioned I pretty much was using no moisturizing products, and this mask made my skin feel soooo smooth and soft. I was a little thrown off by the intense tingling feeling, but apparently if you feel tingling, that means it’s working! lol.
Product ingredients include: Virgin coconut oil, aloe, and banana. Mask is made with 100% cotton and is free of parabens & silicones.
This is a great mask to add to your routine for the dry, winter months! It will definitely be a staple product for me.
The next yes to product that I tried is their Cucumber 2 Step Eye Kit! I’ve been working long hours lately, not getting enough sleep, and I’ve started to notice bags and puffiness around my eyes. So you guessed it, I decided to try yes to again. Right after putting the eye masks on I immediately felt relaxed and rejuvenated. I did see results after the first use, nothing too crazy, but I would definitely give it another try! I think this a product that would need to be used consistently for really great results.
Product ingredients include: aloe, broccoli, cucumber, and spinach.
I guess it’s safe to say I like the brand and their nutrient enriched products! If I had one con it would be that I haven’t seen any women of color on their packaging. All of the characters look the same and not very diverse, but other than that I’m sold.
Any one else try the yes to brand? Let me know your thoughts below!
